Kori was the first to introduce us to this conscious approach to parenting, and through her courses, we realized that there was a different method of parenting that didn’t require so much stress.

 

It also helped us realize that the goal was to raise children who can make decisions for themselves and grow into adults who know innately that every decision has a consequence.

 

While Kori taught us to accept that there’s no such thing as a perfect parent, she also taught us that by using these skills, with the right mix of compassion and discipline, we can be better parents who raise our children to be confident, decisive individuals, which is what they need from us.
